AmpliPhi CSO Dr. David Harper presents at NACFC 2012
AmpliPhi’s CSO, Dr. David Harper, presented our most recent preclinical results at the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference, October 11-12, 2012 in Orlando, FL.
His presentation entitled “Rational Design of a Pseudomonas aeruginosa Bacteriophage Therapeutic and its Efficacy in a Murine Lung Infection Model” showcases exciting results in the treatment of P. aeruginosa lung and respiratory tract infections. The work, carried out in partnership with the Institut Pasteur, shows great efficacy in preventing and treating infections with an intranasally-administered bacteriophage cocktail. Of particular interest is the imaging technique used to show visually the spread and remission of infection through luminescent-reporting bacterial strains.
